Dissemination of Scientific and Technical Culture
The results of the scientific work carried out by Lumomat Master and PhD students are used in projects to popularize and disseminate scientific and technical culture (DSTC). These projects are an integral part of their studies and help to disseminate the research being carried out and to popularize the chemistry professions.
Introduction to scientific dissemination at Masters level
Each year, our Master's students handle a science popularization project, evaluated by the director of Terre des Sciences (Angers Centre for Scientific, Technical and Industrial Culture). Their productions take the form of comic strips, posters, serious games, and videos. étudiants de Master 2 mènent un projet de vulgarisation scientifique, évalué par le directeur de Terre des Sciences, le Centre de Culture Scientifique, Technique et Industrielle (CCSTI) d’Angers. Leurs productions prennent la forme de BD, de posters, de jeux didactiques (serious games) ou encore de vidéos.

The « Thesis in 180 seconds » competition
Every year, the national competition "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" (My Thesis in 180 seconds) brings together PhD students from all French universities with one objective: to explain and popularize their research topic in three minutes.
Since 2021, four doctoral students with Lumomat accreditation have taken part in the competition.
